Concordia’s Board of Aldermen has had a busy few weeks. Last week’s regular meeting included discussions on modifications to the city’s t-mobile tower, Car Audio Sound Connection adding an outdoor sound system, and approval for Environmental Advisor’s and Engineer’s Inc. to remove asbestos in the former water treatment plant.

Council also recognized the VFW woman’s auxiliary of Concordia and named November 1st Buddy Poppy Day.

The previous week’s special meeting included discussions on authorization to sign a settlement agreement and release for roads with Enbridge, as well as new health rates and policies for city workers for the 2015 year.
