LINN COUNTY, Mo. — An arraignment in Linn County was postponed Thursday morning when the defense counsel claimed a conflict of interest.
The attorney for 30-year-old Ronald E. Lemmond advised the court that his client will need a conflict counsel to represent him on a felony count of first degree burglary and two misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest and the violation of an order of protection.
Police were called to the victims residence on June 19, where they found Lemmond in violation of a court order.
Lemmond fled on foot when officers attempted to take him into custody.
A counsel status hearing has been scheduled for July 11.
