As floodwaters continue to retreat to the normal banks of the Missouri River, the Army Corps of Engineers is starting to prioritize the areas most in need of repair.  The Corps’ Jud Kneuvean said he wants to see the breached levees fixed first.

According to Kneuvean, the Corps will do everything it can to complete all priority levee repairs before next spring, but inclement winter weather and any funding delays could impact those plans.
