Voting on the Flood Plane Ordinance is the main item on Tuesday night’s agenda for the Richmond City Council. Click to hear KMZUs Sarah Scott talk with City Administrator Ron Brohammer:
“It really is not so much in our control,” explained Brohammer. “A study is completed by FEMA and that decides which areas are in a flood plane. The issue has been to a public hearing and to the Planning and Zoning Committee, so the council members will be a passing the ordinance as permitted.”
The members meet Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
