RICHMOND, Mo.- On Tuesday, January 24, 2017, a Richmond couple appeared in court on charges of sex-related crimes for an arraignment hearing.
Both Patricia Smith, 35, and Danny DeClue, 32, were charged last week in Ray County Court and arrested this last Monday. According to the probable cause statement the mother of a 14 year old girl went to the police about sexual messages allegedly sent from Patricia Smith on facebook.
Smith allegedly requested the victim have sexual intercourse with her boyfriend. DeClue denied any involvment but further investigation proved he’s a registered sex offender and later admitted to having Smith send the sexual messages.
Smith and DeClue are facing one felony charge of enticement of a child less than 15 years of age.
Bond has been set at $100,000 cash only for both Smith and DeClue and a futrue appearance is scheduled for February 7th at 8:30 a.m.
