CHARITON COUNTY, MO – A Chariton County case was continued Tuesday against a Salisbury resident.

A preliminary hearing was set for later this month for Steven Greer, who is charged with four counts each of attempted statutory rape, and child molestation. Greer is accused of engaging in sexual acts with a 14-year old unidentified female some time between April 17-May 17 at an abandoned trailer in Salisbury.

The future hearing is August 28 at 11 a.m.
