CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. — Bond was reduced Wednesday in a Carroll County drug trafficking case and a formal arraignment was postponed until the end of November.

Gabriel Michael Cox, 20, of Sweet Springs appeared with his attorney, Weldon Wayne Perry, Jr., for a hearing at 9:00 a.m. in the Associate Circuit Court.

After hearing objections from the Carroll County Prosecutor, the judge reduced Cox’s $50,000 bond to $25,000 and allowed 10 percent cash to be posted.

Cox posted the required bond and was released from the Chariton County Jail.

An arraignment is now scheduled for Wednesday, November 28 at 9:00 a.m.
