CASS COUNTY, Mo.—A Belton woman accused of murder attended her bond appearance hearing Monday.
The court allowed the defense for Alea Marie Campbell to move forward with a motion for medical treatment and a mental exam during her bond appearance hearing. Her bond remains the same at the last known amount of $150,000 cash only. Campbell faces multiple felony accusations, most notably, second degree murder in the shooting death of Timothy Hunter on Sept. 4. Campbell is one of five accused in the slaying.
