An accident in Pettis County Monday night at around 8 p.m. injured three people and one driver was arrested. The Highway Patrol reports Stephen Cook, 66, of Sedalia, was driving south in the 5500 block of Highway 65 when his truck hit the vehicle driven by Raymond Calore, 36, of Kansas City, as he was pulling out of a parking lot. Both Cook and Calore suffered moderate injuries and they were taken to Bothwell Regional Hospital. Calore’s passenger, Esther Rickey, 49, had minor injuries and left the scene before treatment could be administered. Calore was also charged with alleged felony leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, driving while revoked and he had a misdemeanor warrant from Warrensburg. After being treated, Calore was taken to the Pettis County Jail with a 24-hour hold.
