LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri Highway Patrol investigated an accident on Interstate 70 late Tuesday night.

According to a crash report, the incident happened on I-70 eastbound at the 35.2 mile marker at around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Reports indicate that the wreck happened as Odessa resident Dustyn G. Miller, 40, traveled off the north side of the roadway and struck a light pole. He sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Miller then allegedly left the scene. He was arrested just before 1:30 a.m.

Miller is now facing one felony count each for leaving the scene of the crash and driving without a valid license. In addition, he is was wanted on two misdemeanor warrants out of Oak Grove.

He was also accused of careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash.

Miller was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was eligible to post bond.
