An early morning fire in northern Livingston County damaged a storage shed and chicken house.  Crews from the Chillicothe Fire Department were dispatched to a home on LIV 228 shortly after 4:30 a.m.  When personnel arrived, they found a 500 gallon propane tank nearby and worked to stop the threat of an explosion.  Crews also removed half a dozen live chickens.  Investigators believe the fire was caused by a faulty heat lamp and estimated the damage to be around $3,500.
