MoDoT has been working with crews from the Missouri State Fairgrounds to remove damaged trees.
Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade talk with State Fair spokesperson Mark Wolfe:
Wolfe says, “About 150 trees have been planted in the past few years and he feels the removal will improve the look and safety of the fairgrounds.”
Wolfe also says, “With the storm damage this past summer something had to be done.”
Wolfe goes on to say, “We have been looking to remove the trees for about three years.”
