JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Crowder State park, near Trenton, is offering a free informational program about spiders.

The program is scheduled at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, July 6 at the campground amphitheater.

During the Spider Sniff program, participants will learn interesting facts about the different types of spiders found in Missouri. The program will include a short hike to search for spiders in the park.

Participants are encouraged to wear insect repellent and closed-toe shoes. Participants should also bring a flashlight.
