JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.—The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Service extends the deadline for medical Marijuana facility applications.
The Missouri DHSS will now accept applications for medical Marijuana facilities until 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19.
The DHSS started accepting applications August 3rd. Initially the deadline was Saturday, August 17th. So far, 236 applications have been received through an online registry for those wishing to establish a cultivation, manufacturing, dispensary, or a testing laboratory facility.
The department plans to approve licenses for 60 cultivation facilities, 192 dispensaries, 86 medical Marijuana-infused manufacturing facilities, and 10 testing laboratory facilities.
