CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. – A burglary suspect will serve 15 years in prison, for a series of residential burglaries in Callaway County.

James Egbert, 28, of Jefferson City pleaded guilty to four counts of first degree burglary, two counts of second degree burglary and one count of felony stealing. Egbert admitted to burglaries on County Road 452, between August of 2016 and October 2017. Egbert was sentenced to 5 consecutive years each for the two second degree burglaries and stealing charges. He also received 8 concurrent years for each of the four first degree burglary cases.

Egbert was also ordered to pay over $5,000 in restitution to his victims.
