MARYVILLE, Mo. (Press Release) – Northwest Missouri State University head football coach Adam Dorrel has announced the additions of 28 student-athletes to the Bearcat roster following national signing day on Wednesday. The 2015 NCAA Division II National Champions class includes nine players from Nebraska, eight from Missouri, three from Florida, three from Iowa, two from Illinois and one from Wisconsin, Texas and Kansas. There are 18 defensive players, nine offensive players and one classified as an athlete. The 2016 class’ average GPA was a 3.43 with an average ACT score of 22.

“Every year I get a chance to introduce our community to a class of young men who I feel very strongly will come in and be positive influences in our program and at our university,” said Dorrel. “Our coaching staff goes above and beyond to help recruit quality student-athletes and their families to Northwest. Thank you to all the university professors and staff members who went out of their way to help make our academic appointments a success. These appointments, in my opinion, truly set our vists apart from other universities.”
