A class will be held Wednesday, February 11th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Missouri Department of Conservation Kansas City Regional Office in Lee’s Summit.  The class is structured to help fishermen prepare for the spring by checking their lines and equipment.

Bill Graham, media specialist for the Missouri Department of Conservation, says the class will cover the basics of how to clean a fishing reel, fix any glitches in it, and deal with any line problems.

Graham says if you check your equipment now, “you can get it all working slick, so it’s ready to go come spring.”

You may call 816-622-0900 to register or to obtain more information.  The class is free of charge.

You may also log on to the Department of Conservation website at www.mdc.mo.gov to obtain information about this class or any other classes and programs offered by the department, as well as other conservation information.
