A dinner and auction is Friday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in Sedalia. The Pettis County Extension is hosting the event and all proceeds go to support Pettis County Extension Programs.

According to Kay Sparks, 4-H youth specialist for Pettis County, some of those programs include the Master Gardeners, various 4-H programs, and they also provide health and nutrition programs for the community and area youth.

The silent auction will end at 6:30 p.m. and the live auction will commence at 7 p.m. The dinner includes ham, brisket, or fish, cheesy potatoes, green beans, corn, salad, roll and dessert.

The event is held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 3700 West Broadway in Sedalia. Ticket prices are $8 for adults in advance and $10 at the door. Children ages 5 through 10 are $4 in advance and $5 at the door. Tickets can be obtained at the Pettis County Extension Office at 1012A Thompson Blvd. in Sedalia.
