CHARITON COUNTY, Mo. – A Disaster Recovery Center will open Monday, Aug. 5, 2019 in Chariton County.
The FEMA center will open for three days at the Knight and Rucker Hall, 117 East Broadway Street in Brunswick. The office will be open August 5, 6, and 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The center will provide one on one assistance to Missourians affected by recent flooding, severe storm and tornadoes. Specialist from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration will provide information on services available, assistance programs and will help complete applications.
Before visiting the center, residents are asked to register online at DisasterAssistance.gov or calling 1-800-621-FEMA.
