JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Clean drinking water and wastewater removal are two critical aspects of any community.
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced in a press release Friday that the final two installments in a series of free workshops on water infrastructure funding will take place Jefferson City and Harrisonville.
According to the press release, community leaders will have the opportunity to learn about how to find financial help with local projects involving water infrastructure.
A variety of guest speakers will present at the workshops, including a presentation by representatives from the USDA’s Rural Development Program.
Community leaders can also share their respective water infrastructure projects and provide insight to other community officials.
The workshops will take place in Jefferson City on August 19 and Harrisonville on August 29. Early registration is required as space is limited.
