For decades, he was the official photographer of Band Day in Carrollton, Missouri, taking photos of the numerous area high bands participating in the annual event. He had worked at the Walmart in Richmond just prior to his passing. He had many friends there.
Don was very active in Kiwanis and recently served as the president of the Richmond chapter. He enjoyed the fellowship there and the work that the group was involved with over the years. He was also a member of the United Christian Presbyterian Church in Richmond.
