POLO, MO -A two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon caused several injuries to area residents.

According to Highway Patrol, the wreck happened at the intersection of 13 Highway and Route D, south of Polo.  A Rayville driver, Dakota Shatto, 18, was thrown from the driver’s-side window upon impact.  The vehicle reportedly failed to stop at the intersection and was struck by a southbound vehicle.  Shatto was taken to Liberty Hospital with moderate injuries.  Other occupants involved in the crash, Johathan Shipley of Lawson, and 14 year old Selina Gomez of Polo reported  minor injuries.

They were treated at area hospitals.
