NODAWAY COUNTY, Mo. – A Tarkio driver remains in custody this morning, after a traffic stop in Nodaway County Wednesday afternoon.
According to the arrest report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, Mason D. Vette, 22, was stopped for speeding around 5:15 yesterday. While being ticketed for speeding and not wearing a seat belt, Vette was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Later at the Nodaway County Sheriff’s Office, Vette was alleged to have possessed a controlled substance at a correctional facility.
Vette was placed on a 24 hour hold pending formal charges today.
