DEKALB, MO – A St. Joseph resident is injured after a traffic accident in Dekalb County.

According to state officials, the single vehicle crash happened three miles west of Osborn off 36 Highway. The vehicle, driven by Brooke Rogers, 26, ran off the road, hit a ditch, and came to rest in a field. The crash was reportedly precipitated by an attempt by another vehicle to change lanes. Rogers made an avoidance maneuver which caused loss of control. The report indicates she was not wearing a seat belt. She was sent to Mosaic Life Care with moderate injuries.
