MACON, Mo., — The driver of a tractor-trailer who allegedly hit a first grader in Macon earlier this month has been identified.
Joshua Gann, 26, as the driver has been named by Macon Police Department as the driver. According to KTVO, Gann struck Jaddin Knouse, 6, from Macon on the evening of December 12th as she tried to run across Highway 63 in a crosswalk by her school.
Gann told investigators he had a green light and was not aware he had hit Knouse. Lab tests are being conducted to confirm it was Gann’s truck and it could be six to nine months before the lab results are available.
Knouse had suffered serious injuries but is now in recovery. She was able to be back at school on Wednesday.
