(Update 11:30 a.m.) – Joseph Pruitt was charged Friday morning with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.  He is the only one to have been charged at this time.  Pruitt’s bond was set at $100,000.

(Update 10:55 a.m.) – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Joseph Pruitt, 22, was arrested by troopers in Pettis County less than six hours prior to a search of his home.  Pruitt was taken into custody shortly before 4:30 a.m. Thursday on charges of driving while suspended, careless driving leading to an accident, invalid plates, and no insurance.

(Original story) – The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office arrested four people Thursday following a raid of a home in the 500 block of South Lafayette Avenue in Sedalia.  The house is reportedly listed in Joseph, 22, and Jessica Pruitt’s name.  The couple, Timothy Lemaire, 24, and Xavier Zuniga, 19, were taken into custody for alleged possession of a controlled substance, according to a report from the sheriff’s office.  Joseph Pruitt is facing an additional charge of failing to appear in court for a misdemeanor.

All four are being held in the county jail pending the filing of formal charges.
