CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. — A Sweet Springs man facing a felony charge after he was arrested with cocaine in Carroll County will appear in court Wednesday.

20-year-old Gabriel Cox is charged with felony trafficking drugs or attempting to traffick drugs in the first degree – over the statutory amount.

The charge was filed after he was arrested by Carrollton Police in October with more than 54 grams of cocaine.

The court lowered Cox’s $50,000 bond to $25,000 with 10 percent allowed during a hearing October 17. Cox posted the required bond and was released from custody October 22.

His hearing is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Wednesday in a Carroll County courtroom.
