COOPER COUNTY, Mo. — A man and woman from Kansas City are both accused of felonies in Cooper County.
A probable cause statement accuses Delisa M. Ladd, 46, and Hector V. Cortez, 34, as being an accessory to trafficking drugs. Law enforcement noticed a vehicle traveling east on I-70 Thursday with excessive window tint that cut in front of another vehicle.
During a traffic stop, it was revealed Ladd has a suspended license and has an active felony warrant out of Jackson County.
A consented search allegedly revealed over two pounds of methamphetamine.
Ladd and Cortez face formal felony charges of being an accessory to trafficking drugs in the second degree.
