A DWI Checkpoint Grant was presented to the Sedalia City Council Tuesday night. Click to hear KMZU’s Jillian Molloy talk with Mayor Elaine Horn.
The goal of the grant is to revitalize sobriety checkpoints in Sedalia. The last checkpoint was conducted 14 years ago.
An ordinance with B and P Excavating was also approved for the demolition of an abandoned building on East 12th St.
Council members accepted a resolution authorizing Mayor Horn to request legislation from the National Guard for additional land for the new Fire Station.
Lastly, minor changes were made to an ordinance for an agreement between the city and county for intergovernmental digital geographic data sharing.
