In a statement made by the Department of Justice today, an indictment has been made which accuses at least 11 defendants of conspiring to distribute at least 10 kilograms of methamphetamine from the start of 2010 to the 15th of April this year.
The defendants are listed as “Viper Mike” Kamal Ahmad, 39, Carey Michael Vannostran, 39, and Patrick Thomas Baker, 50, from Kansas City Missouri, Lori L. Justus, 51, Nicole Marie Bartram, 35, and Jono Dean Hamlin, 43 of St. Joseph, Missouri, Scott Dewain Yount, 42, of Maryville, Missouri, Joseph Michael Tooley, 32, of Fordland, Missouri, Matthew Lee Gusman, 31, Mike Andrews Lawson, Jr., 25, and Kayla Caroline Cornelison, 22, from Red Oak Iowa.
The case must be brought before a federal trial jury to determine guilt or innocence. If convicted, the defendants, must, in addition to other penalties, forfeit $494,200 and two vehicles allegedly used to conduct drug trafficking. For more information on this case, go to our website at KMZU.com.
