JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – A two-vehicle accident yesterday evening east of Holden injured up to eleven people after one driver reportedly failed to yield at an intersection.
A vehicle driven by Tamatha Duncan, 18, of Warrensburg, failed to stop at a stop sign, and drove into the path of traffic at the intersection of Highway 58 and Route O in Johnson County. Both vehicles overturned after the collision.
Duncan was seriously injured. Occupants in the other vehicle, Jefferey and Holly Hoover of Holden, received moderate to serious injuries. Eight others were listed with minor injuries, including several children. They were taken to area hospitals.
