The MU Extension in Lafayette County is about to lose its Nutrition and Health Specialist of 32 years. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Lynda Johnson:
Johnson says she has not made many plans for after she retires on the 31st. “I’m just kind of keeping a clean slate right now. I do plan to, I have a number of projects around home, and then I plan to do a little traveling. And I’m just going to kind of kick back and relax and decide, you know, ‘What do I want to do from here?’ So I’m just kind of leaving it wide-open right now,” said Johnson.
A retirement reception in Johnson’s honor will be held Thursday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Lafayette County Extension Office in Higginsville, located at 14 E 19th Street Suite 102. Anyone who has worked with her over the years is invited to attend.
