According to the Highway Patrol Hendren was found safe in Johnson County, Kansas.


The Highway Patrol has issued an Endangered Silver Advisory Alert for a woman that has been missing since Thursday night from out of Independence. According to the press release Janet Sue Hendren, 76, was last seen at about 8:30 p.m. driving a black 1999 Mercury Sable with Missouri tags, PF7G4N. She is described as a white female, 5’03, 105 pounds with silver hair and blue eyes. Hendren was wearing a blue and white striped shirt, blue jeans and blue shoes. She has been diagnosed with dementia. If you see Hendren or you have any information, you should call 911 or contact law enforcement immediately.

The Independence Police Department has cancelled an Endangered SILVER Advisory for a missing adult incident that occurred at 106 N Ward Rd, Independence at 8:30 P.M. on September 25, 2014.

The endangered SILVER advisory missing adult is:
Janet Sue Hendren, a white, female, age 76, hgt 5’03”, 105 lbs, silver hair, blue eyes, wearing blue and white striped shirt, blue jeans, blue shoes.

Diagnosed Medical Condition(s): Early onset of dementia

Black 1999 Mercury Sable bearing MO, PF7G4N last seen eastbound from Salisbury Rd at Ward Rd
