A man from Higbee facing charges after a fatal car wreck in August has been ordered to undergo a mental evaluation.

According to online court records, Daniel Reardon, 30, is charged with first degree involuntary manslaughter and second degree assault in the death of Clint Woods, 31, on August 14th.

Judge Cynthia Suter approved a motion for the evaluation put forward by Reardon’s attorney September 23rd.

No court appearances are scheduled at this time pending the filing of the report on Reardon’s mental health.

Reardon is being held in the Randolph County Jail on a $20,000 cash bond.
