July 5-7 is Home of Sliced Bread Festival weekend in Chillicothe. Lots of fun & fireworks.
Alumni & friends gather for lunch on July 5th at the Grand River Multipurpose Center. Suggested cost is $4 over 60 or $6.75 under 60. We can all visit there during the afternoon.
At 6 p.m. doors open there for a great 3 piece band. Drummer & wife drive down from Iowa. Guitar player & wife drive from Moberly, Mo. and keyboard player comes from Kansas City. They are all good singers and play a variety of old rock & roll & country. They play from 7:30 to 10:30.
Saturday evening is a special event, open to the public, in newly renovated Bishop Hogan gym. Well known ultimate Elvis tribute artist, Cody Ray Slaughter will perform at 7 p.m. Tickets sell for $35 VIP reserved seating near stage & $25 general admission in advance.
$5 more each at door.
Net proceeds benefit Bishop Hogan School.
Drinks & snacks provided in cafeteria before & during intermission.
