Progressive Taste of Christmas – Nov. 19, 2011
Tour many of Excelsior Springs’ fine restaurants and sample their delectable offerings, 2-5 p.m. Enjoy food samples from Daylight Donuts, Oooey Gooey Chocolates, A Slice of Paradise Pizza, The New Broadway & Penn, Ventana Gourmet Grill, St. Luke’s Episcopal, Willow Spring Mercantile and Ray’s Lunch.
Train Rides – Nov. 19, 2011
The Optimist Club will be giving free train rides to kids 12 and under at the Hall of Water circle drive from 4-8 p.m., except during the parade.

Festival of Trees at the Hall of Waters – Nov. 19, 2011 – Jan. 2, 2011
Grand Opening will be at 6:30 p.m., refreshments served. The Hall of Trees at the Hall of Waters will be open Monday-Friday, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For information on sponsoring a tree, click here.
Lane of Lights – Opening Saturday, Nov. 19, 5:30 p.m.
The Lane of Lights holiday light display is a beautiful drive through East Valley Park glittering with thousands of Christmas lights and holiday displays.
