The Carrollton police department served a search warrant in the 400 block of West Benton Street on October 2nd that resulted in the seizure of illegal narcotics, paraphernalia, firearms, and ammunition. According to the report, more than 750 items were taken from the residence including approximately 9 grams of suspected methamphetamine, more than 700 assorted pills, drug paraphernalia that included two pipes and two digital scales, and a loaded .40 caliber pistol magazine.
As a result of the search, Katharine Davis and Lawrence Hart have been charged with three felony counts each of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.
Davis was already in custody at the time on suspicion of tampering and remains at the Ray County Detention Center. Hart has not been located. He is described as a 32-year-old white male who should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 660-542-8202.
Bond for both Davis and Hart is set at $50,000 cash or surety.
