Three people were injured when a driver failed to yield at a stop sign in Gentry County Saturday afternoon. According to the Highway Patrol, the accident occured around 1:00 p.m. when Westbound Sierra Wagner, 15 of Stanberry stopped at the stop sign on Third Street at Highway 169 in Stanberry. Wagner pulled into the path of Northbound Samantha Smith, 19, of Stanberry. Smith hit the drivers side of the Wagner vehicle, injuring both drivers and a passenger in the Wagner vehicle, Skye Wagner, 17. Smith was transported to Northwest Regional Medical Center and the Wagners were transported to Mosaic Life Care with minor injuries.
