CHARITON COUNTY, Mo. – A Brunswick driver was hospitalized after pulling in front of a vehicle in Chariton County Tuesday morning.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, Alvis Clark, 88, had stopped at the southbound stop sign at Highway 24 and Wood Street in Brunswick, when he failed to yield to westbound John Scherlinger, 28, of Bosworth. Scherlinger struck the drivers side of the Clark vehicle, causing moderate injuries for Clark.
He was transported to the Moberly Regional Medical Center for treatment.
