Press Release from Missouri State Fair News
(SEDALIA, Mo.) – Beginning this week, the Missouri State Fairgrounds, located in Sedalia, will be the stage for the summer rally for the BMW-Motorcycle Owners of America, Inc. The fairgrounds will be closing to the public starting Wednesday, July 18, and will remain closed to the public through Sunday, July 22, to accommodate the group, which is anticipated to exceed 8,000.
“The event is a new source of income for the fairgrounds,” said Missouri State Fair Director Mark Wolfe, “and should prove to be a boon to the local economy.”
Anyone needing to conduct business with the Missouri State Fair administration office July 18-22 is asked to enter the west side of the fairgrounds through Gate 6A, which is located on Clarendon Road. Parking will be available in the National Guard Armory lot.
Both the box office and employment office will also be closed July 18-22. These offices will resume normal hours when the fairgrounds reopens to the public Monday, July 23.
