The Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed the identities of those involved with this accident. The crash occurred at 9 a.m. July 24, 2016, on US 36 Highway, 3.5 miles east of Chillicothe. A 2005 Chevy truck was eastbound on US36, went off the south side of the road, hit an embankment, and went airborne across LIV255. Two passengers, Lesley and Sharee Oman, 58 and 56, of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada, were the both pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 67 year old Larry Braun, was transported by air ambulance to Truman Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo – There have been confirmed reports by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office of a two fatality vehicle crash on Highway 36 Sunday, July 24.

According to a press release from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office the vehicle had at least one other passenger that sustained serious injuries at the time of the accident, and was flown for treatment by air ambulance. No names have been released, and the press release states that the Missouri Highway Patrol is continuing the crash investigation,
