CARROLL/LAFAYETTE COUNTIES, Mo. — KMZU News understands two separate fatality motor vehicle accidents occurred in Carroll and Lafayette Counties Tuesday night.
According to multiple sources with knowledge of the incidents, the first wreck occurred just south of Norborne on Highway 10 at Miles Curve around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate a vehicle rolled off the roadway and the occupants were injured, with sources describing the accident as “multi-fatality.”
The second crash, reportedly on Highway 24 at Apple Tree Road about a mile west of Lexington, was also described by sources as a fatality accident, with at least one air ambulance involved in an emergency transfer.
The Highway Patrol has been unable to confirm the extent of injuries or identities of those involved in either crash, pending the notification of next-of-kin.
