There is a problem with feral felines in Fayette, but the Board of Aldermen and a few concerned citizens announced they are doing something about it at their meeting Tuesday night.

O’Brian says the group known as PAW’s are doing what they can to control the population.
The organization will meet again with the council to get their backing on a proposal to trap and spay or nuder the cats within city limits. In other business the board discussed reestablishing the Traffic Violation Bureau for the community.
