The Fayette License fee office has closed its doors for an undetermined amount of time.  Click to hear KMZU’s Kristie Cross talk with Director of Communications Ted Farnen:

Ted Farnen

“At the end of business on Wednesday, the office in Fayette closed its doors and will remain closed for a few days more,”said Farnen,”I don’t have the exact number of days, but they’re working out some internal issues there.  The Department of Revenue is working with the agent to keep the closure time to a minimum.”

Customer are encouraged to use the offices located in  Boonville, Columbia, Keytesville, Marshall and Moberly  or the department’s online serve at www.plates.mo.gov to complete their transactions during this time.

KMZU will continue to monitor this story and provide notification when the office reopens.
