In honor of February being heart health awareness month, Limrick’s Fine Things is hosting a guest speaker to discuss the importance of heart health. Joann Ritter, owner of Limrick’s says we can expect to learn a lot from the guest speaker and corporate events director with the American Heart Association, Amanda Avent. “She’s going to talk about the Go Red for Women movement,” Ritter says, “Also a program called Life Simple Seven, then signs and symptoms of a heart attack or stroke, and just be there to share some information and answer some questions.”

A lot can be learned about how to better care for yourself and your loved ones. The event is free and open to the public and Ritter says there may be some giveaways. “We will be serving refreshments, and have some gift bags here with some information in it and a little gift from Limrick’s.”

The event will begin at 6 o’clock this evening. Reservations are preferred but not required. To reserve a seat call (660)-259-7700.
