MISSOURI (press release) — The White House announced Friday, June 2, 2017 it approved Governor Eric Greitens’ request for a federal disaster declaration, unlocking additional federal funding to affected individuals and communities. Those in need of individual or household assistance are asked to call FEMA’s hotline at 1-800-621-FEMA or visit DisasterAssistance.Gov. 

Those seeking farm assistance should contact their local FSA office immediately (if they haven’t already) to report any losses and explore their options – this must be done within 30 days of when the loss was apparent.

The Missouri counties eligible under the individual assistance program are Bollinger, Butler, Carter, Douglas, Dunklin, Franklin, Gasconade, Howell, Jasper, Jefferson, Madison, Maries, McDonald, Newton, Oregon, Osage, Ozark, Pemiscot, Phelps, Pulaski, Reynolds, Ripley, Shannon, St. Louis, Stone, Taney and Texas.
