BENTON COUNTY, Mo. — Two people were arrested in Benton County Sunday evening for alleged drug possession.

As reported by Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kansas City resident Beth Kidwell, 39, and William J. Wilson, 49 and of Lincoln, were arrested in Benton County at 5:35 p.m. Sunday. Both were preliminarily charged with felony possession of methamphetamines, and misdemeanor allegations possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

According to the respective arrest reports, Wilson and Kidwell were in possession of 10 grams of methamphetamines.

Kidwell and Wilson were transported to Benton County Jail and released. Formal charges are currently pending.
