UPDATE (05/01/19, 3:30 a.m.) – The Missouri Highway Patrol has released the identity of three victims who died in a one vehicle crash in Ray County Tuesday afternoon. The crash report says Kara N. Frisch, 24, of Polo was the driver of an eastbound vehicle that traveled off the right side of Highway D, a half mile East of Highway C. The car overturned, struck a tree and caught fire. Frisch and her two passengers, Andrew M. Fleming, 26, of Polo and Bradley S. Ahart, 42,of Kingston, all died at the scene.

RAY COUNTY, Mo. — A rollover crash in Ray County Tuesday afternoon left three people dead.

According to a tweet Tuesday evening from Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, troopers were called to Route D (east of Route C) at 4:19 p.m. to reports of a rollover crash that resulted in the vehicle catching fire. It was discovered that the crash and resulting blaze killed three occupants.

Further details are still unknown at this time, but Sgt. Bill Lowe reports that investigators are still working to determine the crash’s cause, and asks drivers to avoid the area.
