A blaze Monday at the Marshall Habilitation Center resulted in damage to the building, but no injuries. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Assistant Fire Chief Tony Day:
Day says the department had the blaze under control within ten minutes of arriving. The estimated loss is $50,000 in damage to the building and $10,000 to the contents. The sprinkler system kept the flames from spreading into the inside of the structure. The blaze is thought to have been caused by smoking materials.
