Investigators continue to look for leads in connection to an explosion west of Concordia on Saturday. Emergency crews responded around 9:00 a.m. to a home in the 24000 block of Borland Road. Firefighters were able to rescue the residents from the structure and one woman was flown to an area hospital. Her name has not been released. Karla Hulver reportedly resides at the home, but authorities could not confirm if she was the woman injured in the incident. The cause of the explosion could not be determined at this time, according to Concordia Fire Chief Mike Tolias. Tolias said the State Fire Marshal’s Office plans to meet with a propane company sometime this week.
